Favorite Tomorrowpan (Brad Forward) overcame a first-over trip and a stretch long battle with pace-setter Not Enough (Jason Brewer) to score the win in the two-year old filly pace championship by three-quarters of a length in 1:56.2. Star Of Show (Keith Oliver) finished third in the event.

Bob McIntosh trains Tomorrowpan, a No Pan Intended-Disneypan filly, for owner and breeder Peter Pan Stables. This was the seventh win from ten starts overall for the filly, and her fifth straight victory. Among those seven victories were four straight Grassroots wins, a win in the Grassroots elimination, and the final.
